I grew up on the outskirts of London, for some reason surfing was ingrained in my brain. I don’t know why I felt I didn’t belong there but the ocean was my calling. Family trips to the ‘seaside’ in my junior years, to work experience at a surfboard factory in my teens, I soon moved out and started working on my repertoire. I owe a lot of thanks to some of the Newquay boys who took me in and showed me around, also to ‘Northy’ who taught me some basice like duckdiving.

I currently run my own surf school: www.thesurfclubcornwall.co.uk and although I don't compete regularly I still train/surf like i'm about to!

I have coached some of Englands best juniors with the English Surfing Federation and have introduced hundredsmore to our beautifull sport.

My career goals include building growth in my surf school and travelling to further flung destinations.

One thing is for sure, surfing is my life and whether I chase titles or anything else, I will keep my feet in the sand.
